Gumroad used to work exclusively with.zip files, and honestly we hated it. We had no way of delivering individual tabs to mobile devices. We actually had to turn away customers that didn’t have access to a desktop PC just so they could run a decompression utility from the DOS era just to unpack a bunch of folders, just to read notation. Plus, managing the zip files is a pain. Any time you fix a typo in a file, you have to re-make, and re-upload any pack it’s a part of. I was happy to see it go. However: with the new platform, we’d consider re-adding this if we can automate it.
